Bloody Pit of Horror (1965)

Tags: Cult Film, Horror

Bloody Pit of Horror (Original Italian title: Il Boia Scarlatto) is a 1965 Italian gothic horror movie about an Italian castle owner who is possessed by an evil spirit of its sado-masochistic past when a group of models come to use his property for a special photo shoot. The models soon find themselves victims of his special brand of torture. This is a pretty good example of a 1965 psycho-sexual horror film made in Italy. This is UK banned and USA unrated, but I'd call it Not for kids. It probably shouldn't be viewed by anyone, but it is pretty strange.... even though there's not any real nudity or language in it. The credits claim it was filmed in Psychovision and that's about right.
