Not a bad movie for a very late night flick when there's nothing else on T V, eh. Nice lovely chick at the beginning of the movie, that's for sure, eh.

Not a big company, just little old me hon.

Use pause for a couple minutes. It looks like your internet provider is some company called Winchester. Because it doesn't work, I think I could place that on the non-recommended list. However, the problem may be temporary. In any case, if you get buffering, you probably can pause the player and go get a cup of coffee. The player will buffer the movie. It sounds like you are only a little slow. You should also check your local devices for anything that will make you slow. Your router is a good guess. You might want to punish your router and modem by depriving them of electricity for 30 seconds. It often helps. A biggie is that either of these is getting too hot. Make sure they are well ventilated. Reboot everything. If none of that works, consider a different ISP. I am very well connected. This should not be an issue.

I have a Kindle Fire too. I love it. It also works just fine.

Great film noir. "Double Indemnity" is one of my all time favorite films; this one echos Stanwyck's character as a bad girl, but she has a bit more heart in this one, a little more saving grace. Good flick. Thanks again for making available.

This was fun film. Even the comedic aspects were logical and made sense; not too broad like a typical slapstick farce. I'd love to see more of these. As usual, a real treat here on Retrovision/Tvvoid.

This is one of my all time favorite Cinemascope films. I have oftem wondered how the scene the fight with the rubber Octopus ( I doubt if it was a real one ) was filmed? I would also like to get an uncut copy of this fim? All the copies have a fight sequence in a park between Gilbert Roland & Peter Graves cut. Any way it's still one of my favorite Cinemascope film of all time.

Thanks again, Kevin for such a great site. Brings back loads of memories. I'v been watching the DANGEROUS ASSIGNMENT series (listened to the radio programs on an Old Time Radio site). Very intelligent, reminded me of the old British Danger Man series with Patrick McGooghan (I think it was Sercret Agent Man in the States?).
Thanks again. Best Wishes for 2012!

I fixed this I think. It was a problem with IE8.... When you use this web, use Chrome. Trust me. I like Firefox too. I hate Internet Explorer. I make that work (usually) but usually I'm cussing when I have to write code for Microsofts troll.

You might want to try using Google Chrome (not Chromium) with linux. Get the real deal from Google. It has flash built in and I think it's a little more stable than Firefox with apache plugin. I use linux a lot. Memory is likely to be an issue too.. even with linux... Try cutting down the number of browser windows and only one flash rich site at a time. It seems like if you get more than a few instances of flash going, you'll crash. Unfortunately, that's flash advertising included, so you can get a lot of flash players going without really realizing it.

Flash for linux isn't perfect, but I find it stable enough to use.

I have been using Ubuntu 11 and Debian 6 lately. Chrome is the best browser.

This blog is Debian 6 with lighttpd (no apache2).

Thank you so much for this site!!! I've had so much fun poking around. I just wish Flashplayer would work better. Keeps crashing under Linux. I don't know how to fix it. Movies always crash just once -- I re-start it, and it's fine.

What a gold mine of old gems here -- even the turkeys are fun to watch! Once again, thank you!

Best.

Love Charles Bronson... this was a good action movie without the boredom of typical action movies. Held me on the edge of my seat all the way thru. Liv Ullman was excellent. A very untypical James Mason role. Fact is, he seemed very out of place with a southern accent. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and highly recommend it.
