Ginger Rogers plays an escapee from a reform school joins a pickpocket academy in Paris. She is caught red-handed on her first attempt at stealing by an upper class man played by Basil Rathbone. She falls in love with a man she meets at a party and it remains to be seen whether she can go straight and win the man of her dreams.

Terror by Night is a 1946 Sherlock Holmes mystery film inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, loosely based on The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax and The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle. It was directed by Roy William Neill.

Holmes and Watson meet Inspector Lestrade on a train to Scotland, in which Lady Margaret Carstairs, the owner of a famous diamond, the Star of Rhodesia, and her son Roland are travelling. The owner has asked Holmes to guard the huge diamond, but soon Roland is murdered and the diamond stolen. Holmes must find the diamond and uncover the murderer, both of whom must still be on the train.

The Magic Sword (also known as St. George and the Dragon, St. George and the Seven Curses, and The Seven Curses of Lodac) is a 1962 live action fantasy film, mainly aimed at children, based loosely on the medieval legend of St. George and the Dragon.

The film appeared on a 1992 episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000. In a highly unusual admission, Joel Robinson and Tom Servo said the movie was “pretty good for a Bert I. Gordon film” during a theater segment (though Crow T. Robot seemed to disagree). The writers of the show continued the praise in their Amazing Colossal Episode Guide, and the film is one of a handful of MST3K episodes considered watchable on its own.

Two astronauts, accompanied by their robot, set out to explore the surface of Venus. Things seem to be going well until violent changes begin to rework the surface. Will they be able to escape the planet with their lives? This film is also known as “Prehistoric Planet” and “Voyage to a Prehistoric Planet”.

This film began life as a Soviet-produced work. An American producer then added some new footage and changed the credits to hide the film’s Soviet origin.

The original film, “Planeta Bur”, is also known as “Cosmonauts on Venus”, “Planet of Storms”, “Planet of Tempests”, “Planeta Burg”, and “Storm Planet”.
