In this adventure, John Barrymore replaces H.B. Warner as Col. Nielsen and shadows Drummond in various guises as he tries to rescue his beloved Phyllis from arch-criminals seeking revenge against him. As usual, the story is fast-paced and full of danger.

While preparing to marry his fiancee (for the umpteenth time!), Drummond discovers that there is a treasure buried somewhere in the secret passageways beneath his ancient British estate.
